You can remain invisible, and your pets will become the focus of enemies rather than you. Their speed is amazing.Ī really fun hidden mechanic is also the ability to heal from stealth. To this day I log on to grind my vampire queen, too. They have a multi-hit kick that will do several hits of dmg, which they use fairly often, on top of keeping up with other fast enemies. I think the creator had the intention of making any pet ultimately useful over having “meta” creatures, but as you know some are just better and don’t require 4-5 morphs before they shine. I’ve personally found Valchist Kings are insanely hard hitting and tanky even at morph gen 1 (no morphs). This means technically any creature will do the job with enough Leveling and morphing.īut as stated above some have more useful abilities or speed/aggression. Though this is assumption, I’m guessing enemies ingame don’t use the same scaling mechanics as pets do?īut morphing them can counter this as you can technically infinitely raise a creatures power over and over. Meaning until you get them closer to 100 they will under perform or die constantly in harder zones. Tamed creatures begin at level 1, which makes them ultimately weaker than the versions you encounter as they are all a set level within the world. This will translate better when morphing as combat power correlates higher stat growth and morphs are % based.Ĭreature rearing seems to give bonus to this, with ~100% for level 100 creature at level 50ish creature rearing on top of the 40% from legendary morph stones. You also want creatures with higher combat power. Some can even summon creatures which scales with the summoners level/power.
Some will also heal themselves/others or cast buffs just the same. You generally want creatures that move fast and have aggressive AI and targeting (Dragons, Valchist, Vampires to name a few).Īll creatures have their own spells they cast, which are usually identical to the ones found in the ability menu, with a few exceptions or variations.
